Bloody Inks
Oh my gosh! Do you love writing with
quills, nibs, and inks as much as I do? I just found this amazing store that
sells--at VERY reasonable prices (who thought that could be possible for
anything goth :P )-- beautiful and elegant writing instruments. They have a
whole range of ink colours with classic ink wells--but my faves are the red,
purple, and of course black. I could not believe this one red and black feather
quill. It was sooooo nice! They also had blotters, wax seals, and sealing wax.
Ok, I thought the feather quills were beautiful, but then I saw ink pens made
of hand-blown glass. Gorgeous! All I can say, is all of my gift shopping for
the year was completed in one fell swoop.
*WARNING* Now, do NOT be
frightened by the sunny name, "Sunflowers Arts & Crafts," or by the bright
yellow interior. The store owners are really nice and they have a
super-duper-spiffy-little-girl. They import the stuff from Italy.
The
best way to get there is to go to Royal York Station and take the southbound
bus to The Queensway. The store is about 2 blocks east on the south side of The
Queensway--661 The Queensway (should be 666, heh heh ). The hours are M-F 10-8,
Sat 10-6, Sun open (but I'm not sure when :P) Telephone number is
