Vampire Horses
Bovine Sex Club, Toronto, February 28th 2002

I saw the Vampire Horses at the Bovine last night.

Firstly: I love the look of the Bovine. I've been coming there for years, and I still always find a new piece of scrap to stare at (the walls and ceilings are decorated with old bicycle parts, and other hardware parts, and with parts of things I just don't recognize).

The Vampire Horses totally fit into the trashy look of the place (but in a good way). I'd classify their music as metal/ punk/pop with a vampire twist. Their stuff is fun to head bang to; and drink to; and get into fights to (fun friendly fights though :-) I picked up their cd, "Transylvania Crypt Kicker". Their songs are about monsters, cannibals, and cars. The song, "Headless Love" is really cool.

The Vampire Horses will be playing next at the Opm Den on Monday March 11. So check em out!
