Resistor 2: Almost Too Much to Handle
Reverb, Toronto, August 25th 2001 |
Resistor2 was almost too much to handle.
From the moment I walked in, till the time I left, it was one of the
best parties of the summer.
I didn't pay any attention to who was spinning at any time - but it
didn't matter. The music was intense and never let up for a minute.
Also there was a ton of new material I have never heard before which was
so refreshing.
The crowd was big - just to show that word is spreading around about
this phenemenon. There must have been double the amount of people
compared to the first party.
Graver and Bathory (as well as all the other people that helped get this
together) really know how to create a great atmosphere and the vibe was
so intense all night.
The lighting\pyro and even the sound level were perfect. Last time I
was at one of the Toronto monthly parties it was so loud my ears were
ringing\hurting even with earplugs in.
Now with analog pussy
performing at R3 (Sept. 22), the Resistor movement continues
to build momentum in a ever positive wave.
