Deathline Int'l - Cybrid (COP International)

Cybrid by Deathline Int'l is a good mix destined to be popular on the floors of spooky clubs near you. A clever blend of pounding dance beats set to cyberpunk themes. What distinguishes Deathline Int'l from others of the ilk is their use of chunky power chord riffs. This distinction works best with the up tempo numbers and makes their slower tunes seem forced. Fortunately, the high energy tunes are numerous on Cybrid.

The lead single "Destroy", also available on the Dystopian Visions Compilation, features sound bites from the movie The Matrix (Morpheus warns "This is your last chance... After this there is no turning back"). Another notable track is their cover of the Guns n' Roses track Paradise City. Trailer Trash killed in ATV accidents everywhere are spinning in their graves.

If you like the music played on Friday at Savage then this one is for you.
