Tepid Lust
Tepid Lust
first hit the New Scream stage back in May 2003 with the Birthday Massacre
where both bands played to large crowds. Their song 'Covered in Rose' appeared
on the New Scream Issue One Compiliation (released November 16th 2003) along
with 12 songs by 12 other local bands.
New Scream is happy to have Tepid
Lust back to Savage Garden !
Stye
From
the streets of Toronto rises Stye, a band with a mission - to infiltrate the
Canadian music industry with their own interpretation of aggressive hard rock.
Fronted by an enigmatic young man named Greg, the band`s raw and explosive
approach to music has pitched them to the forefront of today's new crop of
heavier rock groups. Passionate vocals combined with thrashing guitars and
pounding beats creates the perfect balance between anger and despair. The
band, while virtually polar opposites, compliments each other perfectly.
Bassist Tim Attwood is a stable, grounded individual while guitarist Jason Ho
is the epitome of flash. Drummer Brian Samson, with his near-flawless rhythm
and pounding beats keeps the energy pumping and rounds out this perfect musical
mix. Combined with Gregs vocals these elements form a powerful and moving
experience. In this new age of computers, Stye manages to keep themselves
at the head of the pack with a massive online presence, embracing the online
world with open arms. They not only have a professional-looking web page, which
is visited daily and updated whenever there is news, they also can be found on
many music-related sites around the web. Sites like mp3.com and supernova.ca
which helps ensure that the band is getting heard.
With
their first demo recording under their belt, the band is ready to start pushing
themselves into the general consciousness of the mainstream music community.
Playing shows for supernova.ca [and winning second place in their first band
wars] the band is already gaining a reputation as being both inspiring and
entertaining. Once the band takes the stage, you can be assured that you are in
for an unashamed, hedonistic rock experience. The band boasts a guarantee that
no one will leave a show untouched by the spectacle. What really sets the
band apart from many others is their determination to work and succeed. Instead
of waiting for success to fall into their laps, they are doing everything in
their power to get noticed. Never satisfied to just do it, they have to put
everything that have into everything they do.

DJ Morgana
"Industrial music is one of my passions. I grew up with bands like
the Cure, New Order, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, and Nitzer Ebb. But until the
release of Pretty Hate Machine by Nine Inch Nails, I hadn't realized the extent
to which this music would be become such a large part of my existence. In and
around 1992, I began listening to KMFDM, Bigod20, and Front Line Assembly, and
from there my love for industrial music just took off." DJ Morgana has
regular club nights at the Vatikan, see her website for
details.

Sin/Ikaris Fashion Show
Ikaris Gothic is simply a figment of imagination brought to life.
Dark pleasures rest inside everyone, whether it be as full fledged as the
desire of bondage and S & M, or as small as just wanting to look 'dark'
when going out. The sexy feeling of wearing smooth fitting leather or PVC
garments, be it a tight corset or a pair of hot pants, or even a simple skirt
or pair of pants. Or perhaps it is the soft feel of velvet against the skin, in
a Victorian style dress, or a little tank top for clubbing. Website:
