In regards to nudity:
Implied/artistic only. I will under no circumstances engage in pornography or any sexually explicit imagery. I am very particular about my implied/artistic nude work, and should I choose to engage in such a project, I will only work at my comfort level, projecting images of my body that are not exploitative or sexually charged. My relationship to nude work is very personal and political. I feel nude photographs should capture/celebrate a story that reveals a part of me unique to that moment in time, as well as the personality of the location I inhabit. In this sense, nudes are transformed into a tool of self-reflection and social commentary. I will only work with photographers who respect my views on this matter and who share the same vision. I will only do paid implied/artistic nude work.

-Actor/Performance Artist: I have studied/performed as an actor for 16 years. I have a B.A in Drama from the University of Toronto.
-Belly Dancer: Self-taught/private instruction, over 1 year experience.
-Singer: I have performed as a singer for 12 years. I have a distinct, deep voice which is similar to Lisa Gerrard, Diana Krall, Holly Cole, etc... My range is 2 1/2 octave, tenor/alto. I enjoy singing to jazz, rock, gothic, alternative, blues, ambient, and trance.
-Creative make-up: I am very influenced by the avant-garde work of Kevyn Aucoin.

History: My experiences as an actor, dancer, and singer have taught me how to diversely express myself physically and emotionally as a model. My modeling career thus far has involved photography and theatre projects, life-drawing classes, and performance art. I am looking to expand my horizons and move into other fields such as fashion, web, print, etc. as outlined above.
My most notable modeling experience to date was being hired by world renowned Canadian photographer, Janieta Eyre. As Janieta's model/actor, I engaged in a live performance art piece at the Toronto Alternative Art Fair gala premiere, where I dressed like Janieta as pictured in her photograph, “Making Babies”. The performance served to highlight Janieta's anti-self perspective on the use of her own image in her photographs: “Identity is something which belongs to everyone else”.
