| Being a Bramptonian myself
I figure that I have the right to speak freely about it and so I will. Anyone
who has suffered a night at one of our clubs and has actually witnessed the
scum that they attract will no just what I mean. I refer to these low lifes as
"Brampton Trash" !! The Rock Niteclub is no exception. On Thursday
nights this club is packed with the worst that Brampton has to offer. However,
on Friday an amazing transformation takes place. With Dj Skank, Dizzy and
Brother Bill spinning retro all nite it seems to deter all of the brampton
trash. Instead Friday's bring out a side of Brampton that no one knew existed!!
A GOOD ONE!!!! Playing all of your favourite retro tunes, supplying cheap (less
than 2bucks) drinks and best of all keeping free of all brampton trash makes
for a good night at the rock.

| Not having been there
recently take all this with a grain of salt. Barring all the inherent problems
with the club being in Brampton, this one in my opinion, is one of the better
clubs geared to anything other than the dance music crowd. There has been a lot
of refurbishing done in the last six months to a year and the layout changed.
Some for the good and some for the bad.
One thing should be said about this place is that it is all about levels. There
is something like an observation deck. Then the main level (the one you enter
at) with two pool tables and some couches and tables. Another observing type
level with a few tables. The dance floor being the largest with some ledges
along one side nearest the third bar (the other two are on the observation type
levels at the opposite end). On the far side of the dance floor there is
another small level with more couches and small tables. This may all seem very
segmented but the difference in the levels is no more then three steps and most
being only one.
The price for beer has been fluctuating in the past but it's never more than
any other bar. As for the mixed drinks I wouldn't know, but I haven't heard
anyone complaining about it.
As for the music, it's pretty generalized with only a few gems. There were in
the past a lot of staples that were played every weekend sometime seemingly at
the same time each night.
