I live in Toronto, and it's a great when I get a chance to visit FEVER in Hamilton. I'm a fan of the noisier side of industrial so it's hard to find ANY club that will play decent tunes (gridlock, PAL, etc...). Requests are always granted and the dj's are a great bunch of guys keeping industrial modern yet mixing in classics at the same time. If you want something different than the usual repetitive Toronto 'scene' than go to FEVER on Monday night.

I've been going to fever on monday's since it started up again. Sometime in January of 2000 I guess, And I have not stopped going since then. I am there every monday for the most part. It really is a good club. I like the fact that they have 3 dj's through the night, so you get a nice mix of music. I personally like the hard EBM stuff (suicide commando, eco, das ich, wumpscut, funkervogt, etc). So I know I can count on DJ mike to play that when he comes on. I go to clubs in toronto (velvet, savage, cocktail) on a fairly regular basis, and Fever plays better music FOR ME then any club in Toronto.....bar none. The atmosphere is good, however some people may find the lack of people a dissappointment (its definately no velvet underground on thurs or sun). But hopefully now that its up on this website it will get a bit more busy. I still have a blast despite the lack of a huge crowd. People are friendly, but it seems like people are shy to talk to each other there. I've seen some people there every monday for a year and have not talked to them.......but maybe thats just me being shy. But I have met a few people there. Drinks, the downfall....since it is a monday you'd expect drinks to be like 2 bucks. Not so.....3.75 a beer and 4 buck drinks I think, i'm assuming this is because of the lack of a huge crowd they can't make money if they sell cheep drinks. But at least somtimes you get a guy who will come around and hand out free shots to almost everyone in the bar. But i'll pay more for drinks to hear better music then I hear at any Toronto club, it saves me a longer drive too (i'm from burlington). I would suggest to anyone who likes dancing, relaxing (they have nice sofa's), or just wanting to listen to good music, to give fever a try. It is one of, if not my favorite, club. And hopefully people start to come out in bigger crowds. I give the club 9/10
