Toronto, CANADA RUE MORGUE RADIO, the world wide
webs original all-horror music broadcast, will be premiering a brand new
weekly format this Friday, May 6. Rue Morgue Radio host TOMB DRAGOMIR
will be joined by Rue Morgue Magazine columnists STUART ANDREWS and CHRIS
ALEXANDER to ring in a new format featuring interviews with the latest
luminaries in the horror biz and reviews of the latest fright films. The show
will also continue in its mandate to showcase the best macabre music from
around the world horror movie soundtracks, rot n roll,
psychobilly, horror punk, creepy classical, goth, dark rock, sinister
soundscapes, funeral music and much more.
Ive always
envisioned Rue Morgue Radio being more like an audio counterpart to the
magazine, says Rue Morgue Magazine president/Editor-In-Chief Rod Gudino.
The first step in that direction has finally come, and readers who tune
in will find some creepy treats.
Listeners can visit Rue Morgue
Radio this Friday at www.rue-morgue.com for an interview with feral
photographer WARD BOULT discussing his portraits of sin and sadism, and a
dissection of the big budget bomb HOUSE OF WAX, along with a specialized
selection of tunes from the tomb including the likes of Skinny Puppy,
Suckerpunch, Hallowmas, Twelve-Step Rebels and more.
Officially
launched two days before Halloween in 1997 by Gudino, RUE MORGUE has become a
genre institution with one of the leading magazines in its field. During its
seven year history, RUE MORGUE has developed The Rue Morgue Festival of
Fear, Canadas first national horror expo, Rue Morgue Records,
featuring its flagship release Nightmare Picture Theatre, and Rue Morgue
Presents CineMacabre, an ongoing monthly movie screening, exclusively at
Torontos legendary Bloor Cinema. RUE MORGUE will be presenting a special
advance screening of HAUTE TENSION (a.k.a High Tension) for their
May CineMacabre Movie Night (Thursday May 19, doors open at 9
PM).
