New Scream Special Edition 2004
In February 2003, Toronto-Goth.com launched a monthly night at Savage Garden (550 Queen St. W.) on the first Thursday of each month.

Each night features bands, a DJ and sometimes a special performance (currently fashion shows). Our hope is to expose people to the amazing talent that our city has to offer which you may not otherwise have a chance to see.

The culmination of the first ten New Scream events in 2003 called for a special party. The New Scream Special Edition and CD Release, took place at Savage Garden on Sunday November 16th 2003. It ran during both the day and night. We were happy to include an all ages day festival as we recognize the importance of all ages events in the community. They serve to introduce younger members into the scene, and to provide them with the same opportunity as those over 19 have to visit clubs, see live bands, and have a good time. The evening portion of the event was be 19+ only. Day and night events will have three bands performing, as well as DJ's, fashion shows, vendors, and the opportunity to meet and greet others within Toronto's dark/gothic/industrial/darkwave community.

Both the all ages day and 19+ evening New Scream Special Edition 2003 were unprecedented successes. The venue was packed, the music, fashion and vendors were amazing. Check out the preview article for this event that was featured in EYE Magazine.

There will be a New Scream Special Edition 2004.
It will take place on Sunday November 14th 2004 and will follow the same formula as the 2003 edition: all ages day, 19+ evening, fashion shows, vendors and more.
Details are still being finalized as you read this, but we are inviting your participation in the selection of bands to perform at this event.
From the entire list of bands that have played since the first Special Edition, we've narrowed it down to include only traditional full piece bands. But we'd like to hear from you, the Toronto gothic community. What bands would you like to see play? We value your input, and will take it into careful consideration when the invitations to play the Special edition are sent out. Look over the list and let us know who you'd like to see invited to play.
What band would you like to see play at the New Scream Special Edition 2004? Have your say!!
