Darkest Dreams
So what is Darkest Dreams? That’s a very good question, and as soon as I figure it out I’ll be sure to let everyone know.

Let’s start with who is behind it. Darkest Dreams is the headed by 28 year b Hartling and is backed by her unhealthy obsession with music and a talented staff located throughout Canada, the US and the UK as well as outside consultation from people throughout the world. The staff consists of writers, musicians, promoters, artists as well as individuals from other fields as far reaching as information technology and finance.

Now then, to answer the original question… Darkest Dreams is a new print magazine scheduled to hit the streets in the summer of 2004. The main focus of the magazine is music, more specifically genres such as electronic, industrial, goth, ebm, death metal, black metal....you get the picture. If it's mainstream, chances are you won't find it in Darkest Dreams.

What you will find is the music that the staff is passionate about. Not only the artists you'll hear in the clubs or find on the DAC, but the best bands you've never heard of too. In fact a big part of the magazine is to be focused on unsigned and lesser known bands.

Darkest Dreams is about the people behind the music, what they think, how they feel, who they are. Not only how long it took to make their newest album or when and where they will be playing next. It is meant to be a way to get to know the artists we love as individuals, beyond what you hear on their albums or see on stage.

You’ll also find some rants, articles on issues that affect the music scene, for instance file sharing and what not, and of course, being that there are geeks involved, you'll find the occasional feature on web comics and websites of interest. The main focus however will ALWAYS be the music and the people who make it.

What we really want for Darkest Dreams, our number one goal, is for our audience to be involved. We want to give you a voice, to let you get the word out about the bands you love. We want Darkest Dreams to serve as a networking tool for those of us in the scene to help support each other and the artists we care so much about. So make sure you stop by our website to have your say and let us know what YOU want to see.
