Ava'Tar Seeks Models for Upcoming Issue |
Subject: [toronto-goth] Interested in Modelling For Us? From: "Maledictus

Good afternoon, gentle
acolytes ...
I am starting work on Monday on the Spring/Summer issue of
Ava'Tar. I'm currently recuperating from the effects of a hairline fracture and
loss of a complete toenail on my left big toe, so I suddenly will have a lot of
(painkiller induced) downtime in the coming week ... And no, I will NOT divulge
the moronity that lead to this recent spate of misfortune. Suffice to say, if I
changed my name to 'Kardynyl Klumsynystyr" it would be a more fitting moniker
at this point in time ..
Yes, I know ... it's only March and can things
possibly get any *worse* for your favourite Kardynyl? Please don't speculate
... I don't need that kind of k'harma heading my way, thank you very much ...
With my luck, I'm *sure* to be creamed by a falling dirigible the next time I
venture out of doors ...
But why bore you with my misfortune? Back to
the spring Ava'Tar ...
We are going to be doing a few features on
"vintage SM" in this coming issue, and as such we are in need to people willing
to model in bondage wearing vintage outfits, boots, shoes, gloves, corsets,
etc. If you can help out in this regard, either as a model or a contributor,
please let us know ...
As well, we are going to need a model who
happens to have a wedding dress, a veil ... and can wear a pair of black thigh
high PVC or patent leather boots. If the wedding dress is sleeveless or off the
shoulder, a pair of shoulder length white gloves could be an asset as well
...
I am planning on being able to expand the size of Ava'Tar for the
Spring/Summer issue by eight pages, so obviously we're going to need some more
content as well. If anyone is interested on doing a commentary or a viewpoint,
or a feature themselves, please let us know. Our contributors list was quite
long for the last issue - but we'd like to make it *longer*, with your input
and assistance ...
Okay, I'm away to nurse my suddenly-opposable left
big toe ... and try and dodge falling zeppelins ...

What is Ava'Tar?? Mistress Jezebel, Kardynyl
SynysTyr and Miss Tiriuz are pleased to bring you a new, modern vessel in which
to seek out and perhaps serve your most desired of dreams ...
Ava'Tar
the Magazine is an attempt to bring back the mystery, pageantry, and the aura
of mystique that once wrapped a loving, discretionary cloak around our beloved
concepts of "Consentual Power Exchange" ... We intend to be insightful ... we
intend to be sometimes "inciteful" ... we intend to be informative ... and we
will always hope to be counted on as a valuable resource for all ...
Ava'Tar is now available, completely free of charge, in and around the Toronto
area. A free "snail mail" service is available simply by sending your mailing
address, in complete confidence, to the Editor-in-Chief. We welcome all your
submissions (no pun intended) ... Send us your photos, your stories, your
personal thoughts, your reviews and interviews, even your artwork, and Ava'Tar
will publish the Best of the Blessed ... These contributions can be forwarded
to SynysTar, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, at Synystar@Rogers.com.
Three Lines Free is the classified advertising section of the printed
Ava'Tar Magazine. You can use Ava'tar as a free classified advertising service,
and we encourage you to send in your three free lines to assist you in selling
something out of the closet ... or maybe to help coax someone "out of the
closet". Post a personal contact ad in an effort to serve your own cherished
'god' or 'goddess', if you're wishing to make that most cherished of personal
connections ... Be concise, and above all, be relevant and respectful. Display
advertising is also available for commercial advertisers. Please write for a
copy of our rate card.
The Lord and Ladies await ... Let Ava'Tar be
your starting stone on the path towards finding your own worshipful
personification of the God or Goddess ... Our Temple is open ... come and offer
your talents, and be among friends
