Black Cat Lovers Needed!
October has arrived ! Which means my favourite Gothic holiday is just around the corner. See the events listing - the Hallowe'en parties are starting to come in ! But it's not just about the parties. One of the stereotypical images of Hallowe'en is a black cat. Dear readers of this news item probably know that black cats aren't evil. But some people don't !! Thanks to Liisa for passing along the information below. --dem

The Toronto Humane Society is having a big cat "sale" to help adopt out the over 400 cats currently in their care: $15 for adults, $25 for kittens.

All the info at: http://www.torontohumanesociety.com/catastrophecont.html

Of particular note to us Gothy folks, the BLACK CATS are the hardest to find homes for, because so many people are still superstitious. They end up living in the shelter cages for a long, long time.
