matrixx opening - posted july 16th
Some updates to the news item posted below (july 10th).

• The name of the club is The Matrixx (not The Matrix as posted below). Small difference, but you'd hate to go the wrong place :)

• Also, The Matrixx will be open for business this entire weekend, Friday/Satuday/Sunday July 18-20th.

• Friday night will be the POP technique night with DJ Lazarus.

• Saturday night DJ/music is unknown at time of posting this.

• Sunday night will be the grand opening of the Synthetik Sundays night with Djs Barbi and Matrix, as posted below.

• The official grand opening of the Matrixx bar itself will be in the near future. Details will be posted on the news or events page as they become available.

We last posted a news item about the Matrix way back in September 2002, and there have been some delays in the actual opening of the club.

DJ Lazarus has been promoting his POP Technique Friday night for a quite some time now. more info about lazarus and his many other nights and events can be found at his website, www.djlazarus.com

TG has just received an events listing from DJ Matrix letting us know about the grand opening of the club.

Music will feature a mix of New Wave/Industrial/Goth/Post Punk classic's from acts such as, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Front 242, Nitzerebb, The Cure, Skinny Puppy, Siouxsie, New Order, & Depeche Mode to name a few. Together with current Electro-Punk, Industrial, Techno fused grooves from acts like, the Rapture, Covenant, Fischerspooner, LCD Soundsystem, Wumpscut, & The Horrorist.
