Subject: closing down AFTERMATH and starting Thursdays
This past Saturday was the last AFTERMATH at Zen Lounge. I personally shutdown
the night so I can concentrate on making Thursdays at Zen Lounge a great
success. Besides, DJing until 7am every Saturday was killing me. ;)
I want to thank everyone who came out and supported the night and all the guest
DJ's who spent some late night hours keeping the kiddies dancing. This Thursday
(Jan 16) will be the pre-launch of 'Life in the so-called SPACE AGE' at Zen
Lounge and will continue each and every Thursday. There will be a proper grand
opening when the new sound is unveiled in the near future. The night will have
DJ Lazarus in the main room and DJ Phink in the back room. - 2 rooms, 2 DJ's, 2
sounds - and of course *NO COVER* We will also be adding lasers and black
lights to Zen over the next few weeks. You can see an early draft of the flyer

I hope people will try something different from the usual Thursday routine and
give this night a chance. I know it will take a few weeks to find our groove,
but I have a feeling it is going to be kickass. ;)

Subject: Thursday... Space Age a success!!
The new regular Thursday night at Zen Lounge was a success!! Thanks to everyone
who stopped by and shook some booty. Here is what to expect over the next few
of weeks. (Phink will be making arrangements to have guest DJ's playing psy
trance with him. I will keep the lists updated when I find out who they
are.)
Jan 23 - pre-launch night
Jan 30 - New sound system @ Zen Lounge - still pre launch
Feb 6 - pre-launch night
Feb 13 - *GRAND OPENING* - win a trip
You may be asking why so many pre-launch nights prior to the Grand Opening?. I
just want the official opening to run as smoothly as possible with sound,
lighting, DJing, staffing, etc. Finding the right groove takes a bit of time.
Also I am trying to make arrangements with a sponsor to giveaway a cool trip as
a prize. Nice, eh?
Why come to Zen on Thursdays?
1. Cheaper booze than anywhere else.
2. No Cover
3. 2 DJ's - 2 sounds
4. better sound and lighting than the competition.
5. good location
So please spread the word for the next few weeks until I gear up for a full
poster and flyer campaign in early Feb.
