The following is an excerpt
taken from an email toronto-goth received from Sandra Huculiak of Heretic.
Please take the time to read it as it clarifies some issues that are present:
Heretic closed its Queen Street West storefront operation on August 9th, 2002.
This was due mainly to the building, which I was renting, was finally bought
after 2 years on the real estate market. Heretic, however, is not deceased; it
exists strictly on-line at http://www.heretic.ca and I am still taking custom
orders, by appointment only, out of my studio, where I am better able now to
serve and focus on my clients. The phone number is still: 416-364-4806 and I
can be reached by e-mail at: heretic@heretic.ca
Just to clarify things, Nocturnalia's House of Dreams is not Heretic, nor is it
related to Heretic in any way, shape, or form. I, Sandra Huculiak, was in no
way, shape, or form, part of Nocturnalia or any other projects of theirs.
Nocturnalia's House of Dreams is Nicole Cooper's first store which she opened
herself, though some of Nicole's clothing was available at Heretic's former
Queen Street West location. I was originally and still am the sole owner of
Heretic, just like Nicole was originally and still is the sole owner of
Nocturnalia Clothing. Sorry for sounding redundant, but the legalities
surrounding this sensitive matter force me to be this way. My reasons for
clarifying these points are: 1) so Nicole and I can have the right people
coming to us for what they want; 2) I am getting tired of stating these facts
over and over again; and 3) I want those people who are looking for Nicole to
find her. If there is a way for you to address my plee, whether by publishing
this letter on-line, or by having someone call/e-mail me regarding this issue,
or even by word-of-mouth; I would greatly appreciate it.
