We received this info a while back, and apologize for not posting it sooner:

The Matrix is at 425 Adelaide St West, at the corner of Adelaide and Brant. It is planned to open first week of October, running Thursday-Sunday. The DJ line-up is still being negotiated but I can tell you this, all nights are going to cater to the "alternative" side of things. We want people to be able to walk in any night of the week and enjoy the music. The club is on ground level and is 3300 square feet with 16 feet tall ceilings. The owner shall remain nameless, but it is the former owner of Catch22. One thing I wanted to bring up was that this club is not going to be "Cactch22", people keep on asking me, "when is the new Catch opening" The answer to that is "never". We want to let sleeping dogs lie, the Matrix is just picking up where Catch left off.
