Lazarus: There will be a NEW weekly Thursday night in
Toronto! Temptation Thursdays (every thursday) Temple (469
King ST W. just west of Spadina and down the alley; look for the glowing red
cross and the building with the gargoyles on top) ALT.Electronic music (stuff
like cleen, haujobb, g.numan, ravenous, fictional, T.O.Y., cool retro and cool
requests.) --sneak peek-- Thursday Jan 3 2002-- come check the place
out --GRAND OPENING-- Thursday Jan 10 2002-- This is gonna rock! **NO
COVER** Never has there been an alternative music night like this at a
bar like this. Temple is an intimate, gothy, and very beautiful bar.
There is a great sense of sensual atmosphere that will only be amplified by the
presence of cool people (like you). There is a small dance area, many cushy
velvet chairs and couches, and clean bathrooms. This is a VERY upper class
establishment. This is a beautiful space that deserves beautiful people. If you
intend to come to this night, I highly recommend dressing very well. NO concert
T-shirts, jeans, baseball hats, and runners. If you look 'undesirable or lame'
they will not let you in. I am serious! They hold the right to refuse entry to
anyone they wish. So look good, damn good. Besides, isn't about time people
started to dress up when they go out? I have even negotiated no cover (usually
they charge $10 to get in). This will eliminate any costs to check this new
night out. However, the drinks are not dirt cheap. They are priced accordingly
to the atmosphere. Mind you, they easlily offer the best selection of uppity
booze in Toronto. They also have import beers and Rev. If you look like shit,
and are a cheap ass, stick to Velvet. ;) If you want to impress someone, bring
them to Temple. To see a couple of photos visit http://www.templebar.ca
(they may only have their new years flash animation) I guarantee that you will
be impressed with the joint. Lazarus Relevant
