Backspace - are currently in the process of working on the follow up to
be released on a bigger label.
Apoptygma Berzerk - The release of Apoptygma Berzerk's forthcoming album
"Harmonizer" is being prepared. In the meantime the first single from
the album, "Until The End Of The World", will be released on January
7th.
New Clear Sky - now on "A Different Drum" label will release a
new CD entitled "Newer, Clearer...", will be released in April
2002.
Echo Image - have now signed to apop's new label HARD:DRIVE. and is
working on new material. Look out for "Standing Alone", their 3rd
single from their hardhitting debut album "Compuphonic".
tours:
Wolfsheim - their first North American tour will start on November 8th
through November 18th.
VNV Nation - will also do a North American tour from November 16th to
December 15th - with special guests Icon Of Coil. See previous news item for more details.
Project Pitchfork - also setting up dates for a North American tour,
keep your ears open!!
Decoded Feedback - to play in Toronto this winter
tour cancellations/postponements:
Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death and Witchery pulled out of the tour due to
the recent tragedy in New York. They were to play at the Metallenium rock
festival at the Docks on Sept 29th.
Nick Cave - postponed his tour until a later date yet to be determined
due to the events on Sept 11. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were to play in
Toronto on September 30th at Kool Haus.
Funker Vogt - the "Invasion USA" tour planned by Funker Vogt
has been postponed until 2002
new cd releases:
Depeche Mode - A new "freelove" single cd will be out november
5th. This will include the new versions of "Freelove" ( Floods Radio
Mix), "Zenstation", "Zenstation" (Atoms Stereonerd remix).
The Shroud - new CD "In the Garden" for October.
Dissonance - Has finished their new release,"Reincarnate", to
be released in November on Nilaihah Records.
Assemblage 23 - moves to Metropolis records.On November 13th, Metropolis
is to reissue both "Contempt" and "Failure", and next year
will see the release of A23's third release. Also the "Addendum" EP,
will be released November 9th, and features remixes of tracks from
"Failure" by artists such as Daniel Myer, Converter, God Module,
Imperative Reaction and many more, as well as new material.
Judith - third full-length "Play of Light" will be available
on October 9th.
Regenerator - the new album "war" will be released this
November.
