Tower Records to Close ??
The Yonge & Queen location of Tower Records is closing effective October 7, 2001. This will leave a void in Toronto's Goth magazine availability. Tower Records first closed it's (way) uptown location a while back. The official url for the store is towerrecords.com/stores/canada/toronto.asp

No new magazines are being brought in. To get your copy of New Grave you'll have to order it off the web. Newgrave is magazine devoted to the preservation and growth of dark and gothic culture. Featuring 56 glossy pages of extreme death rock fashion, cutting edge music, art, photography, film, video, DVD and concert reviews. Newgrave is written with an international viewpoint, while displaying a strong emphasis on the Los Angeles and So. California underground. Newgrave magazine explores stores, museums, nightclubs, organizations and all the spookiness California and the rest of the world has to offer. The best part of this publication is that approximately 2000 copies are distributed for FREE within the Hollywood/Los Angeles gothic scene. Newgrave is also distributed nationally through HOT TOPIC and both nationally/internationally through TOWER RECORDS.
