Announcing the "Badinage Publications & Zero Card Cheesy Vampire
Summer Short Story Contest"!
Stories must deal with vampirism, in one form or another. For example, your
story might address the psychological aspects of vampirism, or it might be
about a good, old-fashioned, blood-sucking demon.
· Maximum length for stories is 7500 words.
· DEADLINE: Submissions MUST be made by e-mail to books@badinage.com and sent no later
than 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31, 2001.
· Prizes, awarded to the top two stories, will be announced in the October
issue of The Zero Card.
· First prize: a copy of the book VideoHound's Vampires on Video.
Approximate value $27.
· Second prize: A fashionable "pretentious g.i.t" t-shirt from
Badinage Publications. Value $20.
· The decision of the judges is final.
The top two stories will be published in serialized form in The Zero Card.
Short excerpts from other submissions may also be published. All submissions
MUST enclose a statement granting Badinage Publications the right of
publication to the story.
